Verdict

MISS PLAYLOUNGE (8) improved again winning a 66 at Cranbourne and then tackled a Group 3 at Caulfield and did a good job beaten 3.3L. Has an awkward gate, but a leading hoop is booked and he strikes at 20% with the yard. Peaks and she can bounce with average luck. TATSU (4) brings a string of narrow defeats and they stack up. The gate isn't ideal but has Cartwright's 3lbs claim today and he should be right in the finish. HOT BLUE (10) is in a top metro barn and won a Seymour Maiden on debut as expected. Dee goes aboard and the colt is sure to keep improving. No surprise if he takes the next step. SHOWMARA (6) presents fourth up and is still well shy of his best. The inside barrier should advantage and a senior hoop replaces the 7lbs apprentice. Keep safe.
