Verdict

BEDTIME ANGEL (4) progressed nicely, beaten a long neck over 5 ½f at Geelong. She draws an inside gate today and will jump and run. The blinkers go on for the first time and she rates to go one better. NATIONAL CODE (16) is a half to the multiple Group winner Celestial Legend. She was heavily backed and much too good for the Kyneton Maidens first-up and is sure to keep improving. IMMORTAL STAR (2) switched to the premier stable and resumed with a solid placing at Kyneton. She's raced at Group level and has plenty up her sleeve. Proven second up and gets in well with the 7lbs claim. TSARINE (8) is third-up and has been racing in tougher grade. Hasn't been far away and will be very competitive in this. She's also in good hands and Williams is a key jockey booking. Will need some luck from the awkward gate.
