Verdict

SHE'S MY EX (1) is having her first run since April 11 but has a very good fresh record, scoring two times including one over 5f at Seymour at the start of last prep. This looks a great kick off. NICEREINE (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Bendigo over 5f after being in the firing line all the way. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is all set to build on that latest effort. KIPPIS (9) looks one of the more progressive types in the race, having not finished further back than fourth in four runs in the debut prep. Will be ready to go first-up, just needs luck from the wide gate. ZAMPARINI SPIRIT (3) was stepped up in grade after a couple of nice wins last prep and while outclassed there, this looks a much more suitable option first-up. BLONDIE'S AWARD (2) comes here off back-to-back wins and while this is a step up, she's going too well to dismiss.
