Verdict

Plenty of chances. MR MARKLE (2) was poorly away then worked through the line well to be beaten under two lengths over 5 ½f at Moe last start. Placed twice from three tries at this shorter journey. Will appreciate the hot tempo and can get home over the top of them. MOAKSUN (1) has showed little early muster in his two runs this prep before finding the line well, most recently in a similar race to this at Seymour. Gets a soft run from the inside alley and if the runs present he is one to watch for late in the piece. DERELICT (3) is a good fresh performer so keep him safe off a 28-week break. THE CRUISER (7) can be in the finish on his recent efforts.
