Verdict

UNRIDDLE (9) added to a long list of minor placings when edged out over 6f here last start after leading for most of the race. Now 33 starts without a win which is alarming but he looks a huge chance today coming back in trip. DORALEE (10) is back from a 23-week spell. Beaten less than a length over today's distance at Kembla to kick off last prep. Going well at the jump-outs and this looks an ideal race to kick off the campaign. PULL MY FINGER (6) is deep into the maiden campaign but remains competitive. In the money at five of six runs over 5f. Worth considering at his first run on home soil. SUPER LUCK DRAGON (8) has been freshened up since a modest effort at Pakenham seven weeks ago, his first since crossing from Hong Kong. Watch for sharp improvement.
