TRIPLE TIME (7) did a good job to finish so close up at Ballarat on debut. He resumed after a long spell beaten 2L at Pakenham over 7f, backed into the red. He's going to improve plenty with that under the saddle, and Ben Melham rides for a top metro yard. He's the one to beat. UNRIDDLE (8) placed ahead of the above in the same contest, making good improvement. Maps well and has the winkers applied for the first time. NEWS TRAVELS FAST (5) is third up and hasn't been having the best of it. He's won a Mornington jumpout since he last raced 26 days ago and should enjoy a soft run. He's shown enough to keep onside. PARERA (6) also contested that race but drifted out of contention after racing forward. He'd stuck on well prior, but the mile might stretch him from a wide gate.
