PASSIO (11) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 7f at Sale in a tougher race. Nicely drawn so a big run is anticipated. INDEPENDANT LAD (10) was well-supported in a handy race last time and logged a second-straight second placing. Poised to go one better. FOXTROT CHARLIE (2) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Geelong two starts back before finishing fourth over 7 ¾f at the same track. Cannot be left out of calculations. RICH KING (4) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic, beaten 2 lengths. Will strip fitter this time and is in the mix. ALL TOO SINGLE (7) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at Pakenham Synthetic two-and-a-half weeks ago. This looks a more suitable option and improvement expected.
