Verdict

STEALTH OF NIGHT (7) was short odds second up around here but ended up having to pull out the stops to land the prize. Was able to dig right in and see off a roughie who had a real go. Showed a good attitude and that may bring her right to the boil for this. MOMETZ (15) may want a bit further than this now but was a 7f winner last time and his profile says that he is one that will be winning more races. ATTAIN (10) closed nicely when resuming and well worth another go at 7f on the back of that. Zip from three over 7f to date (and poor in lone mile run) but with a new yard though and shaped as though it would suit. HOLA AMIGOS (14) and ZOURAIN (3) ran 1-2 at Pakenham before both running well below that form last time. Neither appeal as horses to carve through the grades but this is the right sort of company.
