Verdict

The features don't get much easier. REGAL AZMON (4) is getting on in years but his ratings are as good now as they have ever been. He stayed on well last time at 7f and the return to the mile makes him a bigger winning threat. From the same race, REGAL ZEUS (3) turns up looking to bounce back off a poor one. He was too good in soft going at Kilmore over a mile. He would love the rain to hit. DETONATOR JACK (2) is a long while between wins. 18 runs and 762 days to be precise but his Flemington run said he was about as good as ever and maybe he just doesn't get home over the longer trips. Returns to a mile for this one. MAGNASPIN (9) has done enough in two runs back to be considered. CRAIG (1) may need one more but he was okay blowing the cobwebs off at Caulfield and his peaks and wins over a mile are great for this.
