Verdict

MR BLUNT (1) looks very nicely placed back in grade. He was a dominant winner in better company two back at Flemington before an even effort when very well supported last time in a bit of a dash home. This is a fair bit easier, he just needs to tick the soft track box which is an unknown. ROYAL EMBLEM (8) is a lightly raced former import who was well backed at Warrnambool for the Maher yard first up, battling away well enough for fifth. Second up in the UK he beat Mukhatalif who also came out here and won well. Respecting. LIKE A TIGER (4) is going well, a good winner two back at Warrnambool before just being nosed out last time. He'll be charging late. STRAAND DEAL (3) is fresh for this off a win at Morphettville and should measure up.
