Verdict

LEGACY BAY (1) has run out of track over 5 ½f and 6f in two goes this prep. Both races have rated well and she has shaped as well as any. Now she gets to 7f around the Lakeside which was the stage for her peak and win last campaign and she can repeat the feat this time around. STAGE 'N' SCREEN (2) has a similar look in the form book. Placed in both spins this time and with past ratings that jump off the page a bit. COLOUR OUR WORLD (6) will have to do more to follow up the Warrnambool win but she has been better over further than 6f in the past which paints the fresh win in a nice light. DRONE ATTACK (5) is racing well and JUST JENNI (11) shaped well when resuming at big odds and might have a knock out chance.

Third-up today and placed third-up in the past. Resuming 3rd of 11 at Caulfield Bm74 on November 15 over 5 ½f, 2 len behind Gracie's Rain with 122lbs at $9.50. Last start ran on strongly from last on the turn, 3rd of 8 at Ballarat F&M Bm78 on December 6 over 6f, on a slow track, 2 len behind Swiftie Harriet with 118lbs at $4. Two good placings have her ready to win one and she lands in the right looking race.
