Verdict

First of the flat races and the resuming CONSCIENCE (2) looks well placed into her four-year-old season. She was contesting some strong races as a three-year-old, and has been fitted with a couple of solid trials. This looks fairly winnable if she's continued to mature. QUEEN CHRISTINE (5) couldn't have been more impressive bolting in by 6 lengths at Warrnambool last time out in a BM62. She drops 4lbs from that and Meech sticks, she'll lead and be very hard to run down, especially if the track stays wet. MAUNA KEA MISS (4) ran third to the unbeaten Tennessee Bound last start here, sitting close to a fast tempo and battling on well. A repeat of that has her right in the mix. SMART LITTLE MISS (3) was well beaten first up at Sandown Hillside but is far better suited to 6f here and can improve. PACKERS JOURNEY (6) won an easier race last time and is in the minor mix.
