Verdict

Onto the Grand National Hurdle and ANDY WIN (1) looks clearly the one to beat. He's yet to miss the quinella in five hurdle runs, dominant at Warrnambool two back before just bumping into The Cunning Fox who is a bonafide star himself. Doubt there's anything quite of that quality here and he's not poorly in with the 150lbs. ONGATITI (2) is a talented jumper. He was beaten 15 lengths by Andy Win at Warrnambool but has since won a steeplechase at Hamilton impressively. He meets Andy Win 8lbs better off and can bridge back some of the margin. ARDAKAN (4) was dominant winning his maiden hurdle two back, sent out a $3.40 chance when third to The Cunning Fox & Andy Win last time, only a long neck behind Andy Win there. He has to be a huge chance off that. EMBEZZLER (5) was a strong Coleraine maiden hurdle winner last time and could surprise with a bit more ground.
