Verdict

We kick off Grand National Hurdle Day with a competitive BM120 jumps event. GOLDEN CRUSADER (2) just found one too strong at Casterton last time but had been going well prior, fourth to Ongatiti here prior with that horse well fancied in the feature. This looks a nice race for him. SPLIT (1) was a smart winner at Coleraine last time in a similar sort of contest. He's coming along nicely over the obstacles and should measure up again. ZINOVATION (3) beat MORRYL MORAL (4) in a maiden hurdle at Warrnambool two back. Zinovation has since battled into second to Ferago which ties in with Golden Crusader, Morryl Moral has since run second to Flashlight who was behind Split last time. All four of those tie in quite tightly, doubt there's much between them. GRIPPING (5) is next best but doubt he can win.
