Verdict

Have to stick with KING ZEPHYR (13) who finds his race. He pulled up lame fresh over 6f before a huge run at Flemington last time, ridden very cold but reeling off some huge late splits to grab second. He's 3/3 here and gets a lovely little weight swing on BIG SWINGER (12) who just had first run at Flemington from a better spot. That said, he did win it well and gets Craig Williams on here who might look to roll forward and offset the wide gate. RECON (5) will be popular having looked unlucky in the G1 Goodwood last time, just blocked for a run over the concluding stages. 7f looks okay but that wasn't the strongest G1 race when all's said and done. BRAVE ONE (9) just got up late to score last start at Caulfield in similar company and might be able to go on with it now. MERIDIUS (10) struggled in the Goodwood but back up to 7f should suit better.
