Verdict

Open race. STREET LARK (13) is very consistent but just finding it a bit tough to win. She's placed in her past three, closing off well in a handy race at Caulfield Heath last time out behind a pair that were heavily backed in their respective races on Saturday. 1 ?m looks ideal now, and she draws perfectly. EMPEROR TZU (9) has just found one better his past two starts, the second at Flemington over 1 ¹/16m reading especially well. He'll be up on speed and hard to run down. DENY ENTRY (8) is a lightly raced type for the very much in-form Gavin Bedggood yard. He was too tough on speed at Geelong last time and should measure up. KILLENAULE (12) has been right there in two runs this time in and should be peaking now but does draw wide. WOLFESS (14) got home strongly last time and is in the mix.
