GODTFRED KIRK (3) ran a good race first up at Geelong in a strong BM66 over 6 ½f, getting back and working home well for fourth with improvement to come. This looks a nice race for him second up getting out slightly in trip from a better draw. BOLD STRIKE (2) ran a solid race first up at Sandown Lakeside in this grade, no match for the dominant winner but working home into third. Any extra ground will only suit him better although 7f is probably still a touch short of his best. SKY WATCHER (10) got the job done to break her maiden at Pakenham last time out. She was big odds there but is lightly raced so may be able to go on with it. GOLDEN AGE (7) is consistent and wasn't far away in this grade last time. Each way chance.
