Verdict

SOMETHINGS BURNIN' (1) was an impressive winner first up at Sandown Lakeside on tough ground, coming from off pace between them to score a decisive win. Has to give these a bit of weight but 6 ½f suits and he did beat a strong maiden field there. TOLAGA BAY (6) resumes having won narrowly on debut at Ballarat in a handy maiden. Since tipped out, wary of any support first up. GREENWICH BOY (3) looked good winning on debut at Geelong with good form in behind. He sets up well here from the low gate and will be very hard to run down again. CRUDENS TYCOON (2) was a narrow winner on debut at Pakenham Synthetic and can measure up.
