AU - Caulfield - Race 5

OCEANA DREAM (7) was a former New Zealander making his Australian debut here, off a long break but showing great dash in a slowly run race to get over the top of a decent field. He should only strip fitter from that and it sets him up well to go again with improvement to come. EVERAIN (5) is racing consistently well, a good winner two back before a solid fifth at Flemington when getting home well late. The end of 1m is a tiny niggle but he should get every chance to run it out from a good draw. MAKDANE (8) resumes. He can come to hand quickly albeit his best trip is probably 1 ¼m. He was in great form last time in and draws for every hope for a stable who get them fit first up. NATION'S CALL (9) did enough first up in the Everain race. He's one that improves second up as a rule, 1m on speed is his go. HIGHLIGHTS (1) was much better last time at Mornington and if he could get back to his best form with Bjorn Baker he'd win this.
