Verdict

Competitive but if DUCHESS ZOU (2) has been kept up to the mark by the Maher yard she'll take beating. They scratched from a race on a good track but she's been flying on rain affected going, a strong winner of the Leilani Final at Flemington when last seen. She should get a good run and will find her right conditions. ELOUYOU (6) is racing well but struggling to break through. He went up to Sydney and ran another good one last time. now gets Lane aboard from a nice gate. HE'LL RIP (8) is another racing very consistently, third at his past couple over this trip. Shinn goes on from barrier one, he should land in a lovely spot and take holding out. TEN COMMANDMENTS (4) is another off a break looking for wet ground. He was brave last time as favourite, the wetter the better.
