Verdict

COL KLINK (1) resumes having won his only start last time in, scoring a maiden victory at Geelong as the $1.50 favourite. Since spelled again but has won a jumpout and can make his presence felt, albeit heavy ground is an unknown. SHAPENAPIT (6) resumed with a nice maiden win as favourite here, settling just off the pace and getting the upper hand late. Has done little wrong to date and respecting the Begg yard. GOLDEN PULSE (11) resumes having shown ability last time in, a good winner on debut before tackling a strong 2yo race. Late betting will be key but respecting. GINA'S A STAR (1) has been good her past two on heavy and she'll be up on speed, tough to beat despite a gap between runs.
