Verdict

Sticking with the debutant theme today with BIG STORM (1), a gelding by Bon Aurum for the Tim Fitzsimmons yard who kicks off today. He's had a bit of jumpout experience, winning a recent Donald hitout nicely that said he'd take some beating first time of asking. TATAKAI UTA (8) resumes having run well on debut, no match for an impressive winner but holding down second. He can improve this time around and go one better. PATH OF HEROES (6) presents third up having just found one better at Seymour last time when well backed. He can figure again. VARADERO (9) was big odds on debut at Geelong but ran well behind the talented Marsept and that form should hold up well.
