GATTINO VELOCE (7) was adequate first-up then only narrowly beaten last time when dropping back to 5f. Stays at that trip here and has a fitness edge on a few key rivals. ILUSTRIOUS WARRIOR (2) is a fascinating runner coming across from South Australia after winning three trials this time in. There were no doubt much easier debut options closer to home, so the fact he's here suggests the stable has some raps on him. Linda Meech on from the inside alley helps. ANYWAYS (4) was a sharp improver second-up and should be ready to peak. CLASSY SASSY (5) looked good clearing out in a recent trial win.
