Verdict

Looks the right race for KANDINSKY (6) who has been good in two runs to date, debuting in a hot maiden back in December when favourite, good on resumption at Seymour just finding one better by a nose. He comes on from that now and gets every hope with Zahra taking over. KING'S ANCHOR (7) resumes having finished fifth at $2.25 on debut at Kilmore. The winner that day was Pavlich who has gone right through the grades since, no shock to see him improve sharply this time around. TEXTURE (8) resumes. He showed some ability in four runs last time in and can run well fresh. HARBOUR TOWN (5) is a gelding by Alabama Express on debut for the Hayes yard who has trialled well enough with Williams booked. TSAVO (9) can sneak into the minor money late.
