Verdict

LAKE FOREST (5) was having his first run for the new yard at Pakenham Synthetic first up and won his maiden in fine style over this distance, coming away to score by two lengths as favourite. Looks set to go on with it this time in having always shown good ability. There's been very little between EL PIBE DE ORO (4) and CUMBOOGLE (6) in two runs over this route with Cumboogle upsetting El Pibe De Oro on both occasions. The weights are really starting to swing towards the latter now but Cumboogle has gone up at another big price and can certainly outrun those odds again. MARTIAL MUSIC (1) resumes. First go on synthetic for a new yard but he's a speedy type who can run well. MEISHO (9) has the ability to figure here on her first synthetic try.
