Verdict

PUGLIA (9) has had a few chances but does look to have found a very winnable maiden here. She notched up another minor placing first up at Sale but ran well again for second and should be fitter for that. She maps for every chance here and can get that elusive win. ALWAYS YOURS (8) is a mare by Dundeel on debut for the Grahame Begg yard who represents strong connections. She was runner-up in a recent jumpout and kicks off at a suitable distance here. Not sure where she gets to from the draw but respecting. COLT FORTY FIVE (1) ran well fresh on heavy ground at Geelong and should be fitter. He appears to have come back better. HELL OF A GENT (4) has been fair in two runs back but can get a soft run here out to 7f and sneak into the finish. MACCA'S ANGEL (11) was well beaten on debut at Mornington but can improve.
