Verdict

Sticking with the McEvoy newcomer theme with UNSTIRRED (12), a gelding by Exceed And Excel. He draws for a lovely run and strikes a very winnable maiden here against a few exposed types. He's jumped out well and looks the one to beat. AQUA STORM (1) has been thereabouts in two runs back, perhaps not seeing out 7 ?f on heavy ground at Geelong. The fresh run says he'll take beating. VIPERSTRIKE (6) didn't handle the heavy going at Moe last time but had been good on debut in a decent maiden at Kilmore and is in the mix. CHARLOTTE'S WEB (8) similarly can improve on firmer footing third up while HEAVENLY PHAROAH (2) can run well on debut off a jumpout win here.
