Verdict

ROYAL HONOUR (3) impressed in her maiden preparation and is ready to test those peaks. Led beaten a long neck over 5 ½f at Pakenham second-up and has the blinkers on for the first time. Draws out but she has plenty of gate speed. Has the numbers to be winning. MISS DECEIVER (10) resumed at Pakenham with a near miss and then raced wide at Geelong and was well beaten (vet cleared). She has plenty up her sleeve and will position forward from a low gate. May need a touch longer now, but she's too good to risk. GATTINO VELOCE (8) was heading in the right direction before a plain effort at Pakenham when out of the market. Switches back ½f and expect a much better effort. OUR WYND CHYMES (11) debuts and has looked sharp in her two recent jumpouts. John Allen sticks aboard from those and despite the wide barrier it won't surprise to see her race well.
