Verdict

MEDICINAL (9) looks very well placed off a most encouraging debut in the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude, only beaten 3.5 lengths there when sixth. Comes back a fair way here, draws for every hope and will take a power of beating. BIG WIGS (1) ran a good race on debut behind a smart one at Morphettville when finding the line well from back in the field. He'll be better for that and can improve. STARLUME (3) is a well bred colt by Zoustar out of G1 placed Lady Lupino who debuts for the Laurie yard. He's trialled well for this and should be ready to go. FINE SIERRA (7) has finished third in both starts to date, good in the Geelong Diamond last time out. She can measure up off a short let up here. RUDOLFINA (11) resumes. She struggled on debut in a good race but was in the market there and can improve.
