He cops an extra 7lbs here, but should still be the one to beat. SHAWSHANK (8) has taken his form to another level on heavy ground this year, and he made it 2 wins on the bounce with another all the way win here 4 weeks ago over 1m. He will again take some pegging back, especially if the track is wet again. DREAM OF THE MOON (11) raced well earlier in the year in the North Island, and she will appreciate racing on this circuit fresh up with all of her 3 career wins coming here. She has won a brace of trials at Ashburton to get ready for her return, and will be ready to rumble. SIR ALBERT (2) is as honest as they come when fit, and if he doesn't need the hit-out, he can figure in the top 4. STONYBRECK (3) resumes with a trial win under his belt, and he has won 3 of 6 fresh up. Watch.
