Verdict

PERLINO (7) overcame a wide gate to put her rivals away by more than a length over this trip last start, and maintain her perfect record at the course and distance. There is more depth to this field, but Opie Bosson has trekked South to ride, and she can repeat the dose. MISS STARLIGHT (5) is a progressive 3YO progressing the right way again after a strong third in the Gore Guineas at Riverton last week over 6f, and although she has drawn out, she can still take this out. CASHLA BAY (1) resumed with a sharp on-pace win over 7f here, and while this is a tougher field, her natural speed keeps her right in the fight. BOBBY MCGEE (4) has not fired in his past couple, but has gotten back a long way early in each of those starts. He has Matt Cartwright in the saddle this time, which is a positive change, and she is worth another chance. Each way value. AISHITERU (10) bolted in when winning her maiden here nearly 8 weeks ago. She has trialled since then and has to be respected.
