NZ - Riccarton - Race 3

HEZZAROCSTAR (1) is a very promising juvenile early in his career, and he made it back-to-back wins last start with a narrow victory over 5f here 3 weeks ago. He has the edge with his race day experience, and the hat-trick beckons. NEVER TOO MUCH (2) has been placed third in both career runs, the latest a solid effort over 5f here behind the top pick in the same race, and he is tracking toward a win at short notice. FINAL TIME (3) got back when resuming but powered home to score by 2 lengths over 5 ½f at Wingatui 6 weeks ago, and while this is tougher, she should be competitive, especially after bolting in at a recent trial on this track. ENCHANTMENT (5) raced on the speed when resuming and stuck on well for second in the same race as the top 2 picks, and she will be hard to run down again. I AM BELLE (4) was put aside after weakening in the run home at Trentham in the G3 Wakefield Stakes. She was a tough winner here on debut, and is right up to winning this fresh.
