Verdict

ROCK STEADY BEAT was disappointing given the promise he'd displayed previously when third in a Redcar novice in June but gelded subsequently, this looks a good opportunity for Karl Burke's charge to get back on the up from the plum draw in stall 1. Our Son Oscar and Bugzy are a couple of newcomers to note, whilst Lady Henshaw rates a likely improver with her debut run behind her.

Stepped up on his debut effort when second at Carlisle (5f, soft) in June prior to finishing a rather disappointing third of 6 in a Redcar novice (5f) later that month. Subsequently gelded and he appeals as the type to get back on track now returned to 6f from the plum draw.
