Taking on a better line-up this time, but she deserves plenty of thought. NINA VENUS (6) turned things around last start and scored by 0.3 lengths over 1m at this track. Looks well placed, so expect another big run. PRINCESA ILUMINADA (2) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 7f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a win at La Plata at the previous outing. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form, she is one of the chief contenders. SMASHY (7) turned in a fine effort to score by 3 lengths at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Well placed, and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose.
