UKRAINE (3) turned in yet another strong performance last time when he battled on bravely for third at Richmond Park, giving him three placings from as many outings this time in work. Should be hitting his peak now so could break through. LONNEKERS (9) made it back-to-back wins at this distance when he got the job done at Phar Lap Raceway a fortnight ago. Goes back a little further in the handicap but could land the hat trick. CLASSIE LINC (10) was good when runner up two back at Motukarara and is a two-time winner at this venue. FOLIEJON STAR (5) has been about the mark of late and must be respected after three placings on the trot, the latest offering a sound third at Ashburton.
