MIDNIGHT SOPHIA (1) looks close to a win after back-to-back seconds. Good from the second line two back then didn't miss by a lot at Ashburton last week. The ace draw gives her the chance to earn a well-deserved win. MISS WOODVILLE (3) is a long-time maiden but was good when second last start at Ashburton. Should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position so can be in the finish again. OMBRE SHARD (4) will be fitter for a solid fourth at her first outing back from a spell at Ashburton. Lightly-raced so has scope for improvement as does MAJOR MISS (10) who debuted with a respectable fourth last time out at Ashburton.
