URENUI (2) produced another honest performance when racing on the speed and finishing runner-up over 7 ½f at Trentham last start. He loves his home track, and will be at his peak fitness third up from a spell. The extra 1 ½f is the key, and he can go one better. ASTORIA BROOKE (5) is very much win or bust, and she bounced back into form in style with an authoritative victory over 1m at Te Rapa after tackling Listed company at Tauranga the run prior. She tries a middle distance for the first time this prep, and if her mind is on the job, she can repeat the dose. WHAT A CHARMA (3) has been knocking on the door, finishing a close second at Arawa Park after controlling the race for much of the journey. He loves heavy ground, and usually holds his form when fit. Stick with him. PICK OF THE LITTER (9) was a game fourth at Waverley last start after bolting in at Te Aroha before that. She maps to receive the run of the race from the pole position, and she has top 4 claims again.
