Verdict

CAPOTE (1) may have needed his last run as he was over a month between starts. His form was building nicely in 2 starts before that, including a nose defeat at Taupo in his penultimate start. The blinkers are on now, and with the in-form Joe Doyle picking up the ride, we think he is the one to beat. MISS ANNA LEE (4) was second fresh up here on a heavy track, and then filled the same spot on a good track also here 16 days ago. She has the ace draw and can go one better this time. INTO THE CIRCLE (6) led up at Waverley just over a month ago and battled on gamely to finish fourth. She gets her best draw yet, and she should make her presence felt again. Each way. ADLERIAN (7) resumes for a new trainer. Each way.
