Verdict

RIVERPLATE (3) was out of the money but not far off the money in a strong G2 Foxbridge Plate at Te Rapa a fortnight ago, and he will find this much easier. Hard to beat. TURN THE ACE (2) will be looking for an uncontested lead in this field, and if he gets his won way in front, he will take plenty of pegging back. CREMANT (12) cops a wide gate, but she has been racing well enough in BM75 company through the winter, and if she can manage the 7f for the first time, then she can run into the top 4 again. ONE BOLD CAT (1) is the class horse of the field resuming from a spell on his home track where he has a terrific record. He comes to hand quickly, so don't underestimate his winning claims. DIOMEDES (11) has been freshened since winning at Woodville in June. He has trialled up nicely, and is well worth including in all combos to be safe.
