GOSSIP (1) has yet to convert her winning trial form on race day, but has finished top 4 in all of her career starts to date. She is bred to get better with time, and was too good at another trial late last month at Ellerslie. She is overdue, and can win fresh up. MERKEL (2) rocketed home fresh up for second at Trentham, and then was fifth as the favourite at Woodville nearly 3 weeks ago. She will be spot-on with her fitness now and should go close to taking this out. Follow your money. SATTRIYA (3) has been showing plenty of promise at the trials and will be making her debut on her home track. Hard to beat, and the market should confirm this. REKINDLE (5) ran some good races during her initial prep, and resumes from a spell with a recent quiet trial under her belt. Her stable is on fire at the moment, and she is worthy of respect. JUSTICE FOR ALL (7) just battled on a very heavy track at Pukekohe last time out. She is better than that, and can make amends. Each way value.
