He will relish stepping up to a middle distance for the first time, and now that he is stronger as a 5-year-old gelding, he should pick up an overdue maiden win at short notice. BLACK SEA (2) is bringing in the same form lines as the top 2 pick, and he will be peaking third up from a spell. The key here is having Craig Grylls in the irons, and with the right run, they can win this. CHEERFUL SMILE (6) has been thereabouts up to a mile this prep on wet tracks, and will appreciate racing over a middle distance this time.
