ARDAH (2) was beaten out of sight first-up at Chukyo Dirt, but his earlier Hanshin run was less severe and he should strip fitter second-up while coming back to 7 ½f. IBERIS AMARA (7) brings the tidiest latest margin of the main hopes, beaten four lengths at Niigata, and that looks competitive in a race short on convincing recent form. ECORO ZELDA (10) is more a place-to-win type: her Sapporo run two back was sounder than the latest, but she still has to convert that into a sharper finish.
