SANONO SE LEVE (11) sets the standard after two seconds from two starts at Nagoya, most recently beaten a neck as odds-on favourite by Nishiki Birkin. She has already placed at this distance and brings the clearest recent form, so she is the runner the others have to lift to beat. CHOCO BROWNIE (12) has plain figures, but the 16th at Niigata in a 3yo Maiden was only just over eight lengths from Suteki Surprise and she returns second-up into a weaker-looking assignment with a leading jockey booked. IRON (6) was better found in an open market here last start and the class drop keeps him in calculations, though he must improve sharply on being beaten over 12 lengths by Sun Road. ORIENTAL GIRL (10) is still winless from seven starts, yet she was near the top of betting at Nagoya last time and has enough placement in this field to be a value threat if she produces more at the end of 7 ½f.
