Verdict

LUCKY BELLE (7) is the one to beat after winning on debut in Open grade at this track, scoring over this trip from Capet Crown when solidly found in betting. She has had six weeks between runs, but the class drop and inside draw give her a strong platform second-up. STRATEGISE (2) is unbeaten from two starts and brings the most compelling winning streak, having backed up a Restricted debut win with a Class 4 victory over Pacific Silver at this venue. CONGRATULATEBANKER (6) keeps turning up, with five placings or wins from six starts overall and another honest second behind Section Eighteen last time. GOLD MEDAL MADAM (5) has been below her best in Class 3 company at her past two, but returns to the 6 ½f where she has already won and gets a 9lbs claim to help her press for a place.
