PAHLAWAN (5) has been knocking on the door with two strong placings, the latest a determined second over 7f after racing on the speed throughout. He finds another suitable assignment and looks set to produce another big run. ROGER ROGER (10) took a solid step forward last start when finishing just half a length off the winner over 1m at Perak, and while he rises in grade, his improving profile suggests he's capable of measuring up. LIGHTNING GAL (8) also progressed nicely last time, finishing a close second over 7f after a below-par run prior, and although she too steps up in class, her latest effort indicates she can run boldly again. FREE AND HAPPY (1) returned to form in style last start with a strong 2-length win over 1m, and with confidence restored, he's well placed to feature prominently once more.
