PACIFIC HUNTER (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing second and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f when he worked home well. In the right race build on that solid recent effort. WEALTHYNESS (14) ran well below his best last time over 6f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth at $2.40. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders on peak form. GOLDEN CREST (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 4.5 lengths over 6f at this track. Best figures measure up nicely.
