MAZE (1) finished tenth two runs back then improved last time out to score by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 6 ?f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. CONTARELLI (7) was prominent at the bend but failed to live up to expectations over 6 ½f at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Can bounce back without surprising. KIM EMPIRE (3) finished tenth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 7f at this track, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
