PACIFIC HUNTER (1) produced a strong finishing effort last start, charging home late and only just missing out by half-a-length over 5f at this track. With that run under his belt he should strip fitter and, from a favourable draw, looks capable of going one better. WINS EIGHT (9) showed improvement last time after a modest effort two starts earlier, finishing closer to the action over this course and distance. This appears a suitable assignment and another competitive performance is expected. OUTFIT (5) has been below his best in two runs since returning from a spell but is capable of much better than those efforts suggest. With fitness improving and a race that looks within reach, he can bounce back strongly. TANTHEMAN (3) was disappointing last start but has shown enough previously to warrant another chance. Improvement is anticipated and a place finish would not surprise. Include in all top 4 combos.
