BIG MAX (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 7f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. RED SKY (5) failed to figure again last time over 7f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into 11th. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts him right in this so worth another chance. KITSUNE (1) is having his second run back from a break after finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth when resuming over 6 ?f at this track. Will take a lot from that hit-out so he is certainly one to consider. THE WILD CHIEF (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 7f at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
