NIGHT WOLF (3) certainly deserves a winning turn after some good form, including his last start second at Ellerslie just over 2 weeks ago. He tries a mile again, and he is fit enough to cope with a heavy track, so stick with him on top. MODELO (7) put in a big run for second in her penultimate start at Ellerslie and then ran on too late at Pukekohe 12 days ago. He will be launching late again in this, and this time, he can have the last say. DEL INQUENT (1) won a trial before finishing a game third fresh at Ellerslie just over a fortnight ago, and he has shown enough in his short career to say he can win a race like this. BEAU MILLER (2) did not have all the favours fresh up at Arawa Park 3 weeks ago over 7f. The extra 1f is the key, and he has top 3 claims this time. G'DAY GOLDIE (13) ran her best race yet when storming into second at Pukekohe 12 days ago. She has a superior draw this time, and there is no reason why she can't go one better in this.
