PRIOVITA (5) made up a lot of late ground when resuming from his spell with a sound effort for fifth. A wide gate is against him here, but the extra 1f will help him, and he should be tough to hold out in this. SHE MEANS BUSINESS (9) has improved in each of her 2 starts to date for the powerful local Walker/Bergerson stable, and she is another in an even field with a solid each-way chance. SALTBURN (1) has gone close to winning a race in the past, and he only weakened late at Ellerslie last week when finishing fifth. A quick 7-day backup could be the key this time, and he should be right in the finish again. CONFECTIONIST (10) did not kick on as expected earlier in the season, and she was put aside to mature. She looks to have returned in great order after winning both of her tune-up trials, and with the advantage of a good gate she can make a positive return, especially if the money comes for her. DA DA WING (4) lacked some strength in his initial campaign. Expect better.
