Verdict

IVY'S DANCER (7) has improved since dropping down to BM60 level, and she has again drawn a nasty gate. She revels in the wet and does not have to improve by much to take out a race like this. HEZA SHARP ONE (4) will be at his peak fitness third up after battling away gamely in this grade when finishing sixth at Ellerslie 16 days ago. The extra 2f will definitely help him, and even from a wide gate, he can figure in the top 3 here. ROMANIN (11) is still a maiden, and she was running on strongly to finish third fresh up at Pukekohe 12 days ago. This field is not a big step up in class, and with 6lbs less to carry being a big advantage, she should go close to taking this out. CAMACHO (2) has tackled a couple of tougher fields since her maiden win at Taupo in February, and he can bounce back into the money here. INTOXICATED (5) will be backing up quickly from a solid effort at Arawa Park on Saturday. He has been placed 3 times from 4 starts here, and he is overdue for another win.
