RELEASED (8) was beaten by a nose on debut, and then was less than a length from the winner when finishing runner-up again 2 weeks ago at Pukekohe, when starting from a wide gate. He tries a middle distance for his peak effort third up, and he goes on top for us. THE KING OF JAZZ (9) treks North from New Plymouth, and his last start as favourite when finishing fourth over a mile at Trentham was full of merit. The extra 2f is ideal, and he can take this out, so follow your money. LA DANZA (13) has been running on strongly in each of her 4 starts to date, and she was third at Taupo 17 days ago. She is likely to sit off the pace, and if she is close enough when they turn for home, she is good enough to have the last say. THEE AULD TRICK (12) will be peaking third up from a spell, and a handy gate will be an assist here. She is not out of this at some decent each-way value. SUMMER IN LONDON (14) was probably half a run short at Pukekohe a fortnight ago, and she is right up to winning.
