AU - Illawarra Grange - Race 7

INVISIBLE MAGIC (3) was enormous first-up over 6 ¼f at Newcastle, taking a while to get clear then charging home on the soft track to finish an unlucky third. Less impressive last start on a good track at the Kenso. Can bounce back in more favourable conditions back at provincial level. MARCHON (1) engaged in a ding-dong battle with Tuscany but was narrowly denied last time out over 6f on the outer track here. Doesn't know how to run a bad race and from the good gate expect him to be in the finish again. HELEN'S WAY (2) went too hard in front and capitulated at the end of 6 ½f at Scone recently. Has ability and if he settles this is well within reach. ELLISMAYNE (6) progressed nicely last start at the second run of the prep, boxing on gamely on to just miss in a busy finish over 6 ½f at Goulburn. Peaked at this stage last prep so there is further improvement in store.
