Two key chances have come out and that leaves EXCESS (3) on top. She ran a great race second up here when just run down late by the talented She's An Artist. That's strong form and she'll be in this for a long way. SOUTHERN CRESCENT (12) has won three on the bounce, beating a handy one in Rohesia last time. She can sit back and be charging late once more. JENNYANYDOTS (8) was good fresh and can be working home late with luck from the inside gate. She's better suited over this trip than the 4 ¾f dash she ran in first up. NIMBUSTWOTHOUSAND (1) was a dominant winner second up at Ballarat over 5f and will take beating again with even luck from a wide gate.
