ALGADON STORM (8) is the horse to beat third-up after a sound CL3 placing at Ascot two starts ago and a fair sixth in FM CL1 company at Belmont. This is easier than that mid-week assignment, she rates best on recent form and the 7lbs claim helps her press a strong winning case. WHO SAZ YES (10) has not been finishing close enough, but her one win and one place from three starts at this track and distance give her a genuine platform, and she also comes out of stronger FM CL3 provincial company. KATONA (2) is a veteran whose recent market profile has been cold, yet he made ground after early tightening in a CL5 at Northam and has a useful record at 6 ½f. ELLOVAMAN (9) was only beaten two and a half lengths at Northam after beginning slowly and striking late interference, so he has claims if he leaves more cleanly. SHOOT TO FAME (4) can find the front and will be tough to run down.
