AU - York - Race 6

POLYVANOVA (1) looks well placed back from CL3 company after an eighth at Belmont that was better than the finishing position suggests, beaten just under four lengths. Her previous second at Bunbury reads well for this BM52+ and she is already proven at this track and distance, with the 7lbs claim helping offset the 131lbs. SKY RIVER (7) is the main danger after a one-length third at Geraldton in CL2 company and a nose second at this venue before that, with her 7 ½f record giving her a solid base. APPARATUS (4) has place appeal second-up after making ground from well back at this track, though the rise from BM44+ company asks more. SECRETCHINO (9) has been slow away at her past two but hit the line soundly each time and gets weight relief. Not to be discounted. BEEJAY BOY (3) finds the right race today.
