Verdict

Cannot rule any of these out. SAINT PHILOMENA (9) tackled open company last start and gave a tremendous sight, leading until the shadow of the post over the mile at Warren. Only carries a kilo more today back in a BM66. Can take a sit this time from the good draw and will be very tough to hold out. MARNOO (5) made it two wins on end when he toughed it out in a similar race to this at Quirindi 11 days ago. Getting up in the weights but he is hard to overlook in this sort of form. MRS BULL (6) has a remarkable top three strike rate, although she is not a prolific winner. Good effort to finish fourth in open company at Warren last start. Meets Saint Philomena poorly at the weights but she will run her usual honest race. SPORTS PAGE (7) just missed in a BM58 here at this distance recently. Tackles some smarter types this time but from gate one she can sneak into contention. NAVAL OFFICER (10) caught the eye here last start and although up in grade cannot be dismissed.
